Chris Morano:
Founder & Financial Researcher at MoneyZoe

I’m Chris Morano, the founder of MoneyZoe. I research and review financial products to help people and businesses make better decisions with their money.
I started MoneyZoe because I believe that handling money well gives you the freedom to live the life you want. I started MoneyZoe because I believe that handling money well is what gives you the freedom to live the life you want. The name comes from the Greek word Zoe, meaning ‘life.’ It reflects my belief that while money isn’t everything, managing it well makes life better—giving us the freedom to focus on our purpose and the time to pursue what truly matters.
What I Do
I create independent comparisons and guides across the financial landscape—including business banking, savings, ISAs, and investments. While my work is currently focused on the UK market, I am constantly expanding my research to cover a broader range of international financial tools. My goal is to provide clear, honest information without the jargon, no matter where you are based.
Over the past two years, I’ve built MoneyZoe into a resource that combines deep research with real user feedback. I’ve personally researched over 10 business bank accounts and 5+ savings and investment products. I don’t just look at the marketing; I analyze the fee structures, compare the features, and look at what actual customers are experiencing.
My Research Process
Every comparison on MoneyZoe follows the same deep-research approach:
- Documentation Analysis: I dive into the provider’s terms and conditions to find the fees, limits, or restrictions that aren’t always easy to find.
- Feature Comparison: I break down what the product actually offers to see if it provides real value for the user.
- User Feedback: I review feedback from thousands of real customers to understand how these products perform in real-world situations.

Important Notes
I’m not a financial adviser. Nothing on MoneyZoe constitutes personal financial advice. The comparisons and guides provide information to help you research your options. Always verify details directly with providers before making decisions.
